Our Line Up of Beers

Slap on the wrist

Irish Red Ale

5.8% ABV.

A malt forward, easy drinking Irish red ale. Notes of Caramel, toffee and chocolate with a deep red color.

You’ve heard the common saying “a slap on the wrist,” a mild reprimand or punishment for bad behavior. Due to the fact that this Irish Red is a lesser ABV than our OG Irish Style Red, called Red Handed, we thought it was fitting.

By the Book

Dunkelweizen

5.6% ABV.

A flavorful cross between a German-style dunkel and a hefeweizen, brewed with darker grains. Translating to “dark wheat” in German, this beer strikes a perfect balance with creamy wheat, rich maltiness, and notes of banana, clove, bread, toast, and caramel. With a smooth, medium-full body, it pairs well with roasted chicken, gouda, and banana cream pie.

This style dates back to 1516 in Bavaria, where the Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) allowed only water, barley, and hops in beer to keep wheat and rye available for bakers. Hence the name "By the Book."

Prop 65

West Coast IPA
6.7% ABV.

An orange, full bodied pour with an enduring foamy white head. A caramel maltiness balances the big west coast hop bitterness. The hops magnum, simco, columbus, centennial and cascade together exhibit big aromas of pineapple, citrus and pine.

The 1986 California Proposition 65, (previously known as The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, and also referred to as Prop 65) is a California law passed to protect drinking water from toxic substances that could cause cancer or birth defects and eliminate exposures to chemicals.

Sod's Law

Dry Irish Stout
ON NITRO

4.8% ABV.

Dry Irish Stout served on nitro. A roasted coffee aroma with hints of dark chocolate and herbal bitterness. A classic dry finish and creamy head.

Named after the British saying, if something can go wrong, it will. (While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it will always go wrong with the worst possible outcome or at the worst time and... we've been there.)

Miracle on Hickory Street

Winter Ale

6.5% ABV.

Hoppy English Brown Ale that pours clear with notes of caramel and dark fruits. The moderate herbaceous hop character balances the malt backbone and medium body. At 6.5%abv this beer is perfect for nights at the pub or warming up by a fire.

Meaning behind the name: If you know anything about the history of The Vogt House and the construction of the building, you know, the project getting completed and finally opening last December was a miracle! Also a nod to the Movie with a similar name, where Santa ends up on trial at Christmas time.
