Over the past year, as we’ve worked on restoring the historic Karl Vogt Building, we’ve made a conscious effort to renovate our new venue sustainably. We’ve found creative ways to reuse materials natural materials, repurpose antique furniture, and restore original light fixtures to reduce energy consumption, all while preserving the building’s unique historical charm.

Our goal has been to create a new community space that not only meets modern standards but also minimizes its environmental impact through carefully selected products and materials. We believe that by making small changes, we can all do our part to create a more sustainable future. However, this project was not without its challenges. We had to bring the building up to code and ensure that all modern amenities were installed with safety in mind.

Nonetheless, we remained committed to our goal of making The Vogt House an environmentally conscious business that serves our future patrons and visitors.
